Clothes
The focus should be on you and not the wardrobe. Clothes should be clean and wrinkle free. Large prints and patterns can be distracting, and are generally avoided. Also, if the images are going to be used in conjunction with a color scheme (like on a website or advertising material) it is also a good idea to make sure that your clothing colors do not clash with that predefined style.
Hair
The hair should be done in your usual style. If we’re going to be shooting later in the day, allow yourself a little extra time before the session freshen up.
Blemishes
If the worst should happen and a zit, or something else, should develop, don’t worry! Small things like this are easy to retouch, which is included in the price of your session. However, if you are the person who will relentlessly attack your pores, please resist that urge this time. It is much harder to retouch a patch of skin that is red and blotchy following the assault of fingers.
Facial Hair
If you want the option of facial hair and clean-shaven, we can absolutely do that. If you only want a clean-shaven look, try to shave as close to the session as possible. If you have sensitive skin, allow yourself enough time for any irritation to subside.
